Krabi is now a top destination for beach and islands lovers. Much of the province are covered with national parks. Beautiful pristine beaches surrounded with towering limestone formations. The topmost destinations are Hat Noppharat Thara, Ao Nang, Railay, Koh Phi Phi National Park, Over 80 smaller islands such as Lanta islands, or Koh Lanta, Phi Phi islands are famous as the ideal location for adventures, yachtsmen, scuba divers, snorkelers and day-trippers from phang-nga, phuket.

Koh Lanta National Park, also in Krabi province, includes several coral-fringed islands, is well-known diving sites. The largest island, Koh Lanta Yai, is the site of park headquarters, and is home to Chao Le or sea gypsies who sustain themselves largely through fishing. These islands are best visited during the non-monsoon months of October through April .Kayaking, sailing, bird watching, snorkeling are also among top activities. In the interior, two predominantly mainland national parks, Khao Phanom Bencha and Than Bok-khorani, offer inland scenery attractions including waterfalls and caves, and opportunities for trekking, bird watching and eco-tours.

Phi Phi islands: are 40 km from Krabi and intermediate itinerary, Krabi - Phuket. Phi Phi Islands consists of 6 islands Phi Phi Don. Area is approximately 28 km2 ,the biggest of the islands. There are no roads on it so there are no cars and motorbikes. This makes the island quite relaxed .Also it’s the only permanent inhabited island ,from here trips can be made to the other islands.

Phi Phi Leh:The second biggest island ,famous because the movie the Beach was filmed here. Viking cave got it’s name because of the drawings in the cave from old sailing boats .In history sailors and pirates kept shelter for the monsoon or repaired their ships in here. Local people collect swift bird's nest to make birds nest soup ,a Chinese delicacy .Visitors can travel to Phi Phi islands from Krabi, Phang-Nga and Phuket.

Ao Nang : The best all-round beach destination in Thailand .Accommodations can be found for every budget and the local Thai (seafood) restaurants are worth trying though there are plenty western dishes as well .Several white beaches are hidden between lime stone mountains .Offshore there are 83 rocky islands .From Ao Nang longtail boats can be rented to travel to Railey ,Tham Phra Nang and other beaches .

Railey beach: A small piece of land sealed in by the cliffs and the sea. This beach is famous of the steep limestone cliffs which can be climbed. Several rock climbing schools are found here *You don’t need to be strong like a man, before to discover how easy to climb a rock the first time, this style of sports is waiting for you at railey!

Tham Phra Nang Beach: Next to railey beach and also not accessible by car is this beach .White sand beach and crystal clear water surrounded by limestone cliffs .Attracted by thousands every year but still laid back and a relaxing atmosphere .
