Khaolak Trekking Tour
Takolamedia opened a small campingsite in the middle of the jungle from Khaolak. The concept is all-in with guided tours along the river and we offer the following activities: jungletours, abseiling, zipline, canyoning, ropebridge and much more.
The idea was to add another activity near Khaolak, which wasnt available yet. Together with a Thai landowner and local labourers we made the camping as it is now. Situated along a river with crystalclear water we can let people experience to go camping in the jungle.
The main activity will be a jungletour along the river, all the way to a virgin waterfall. During this trip people can see the remains of the old tin mine, situated here 30 years ago. After the mine being abandoned the jungle took everything over again
.
Towards the waterfall people can see an abundance of plant- and wildlife such as lizards, a lost snake, the bull spider, different kind of mushrooms and traces of wild boar and deer.
Food will be cooked at the camping with fresh vegetables from our very own plantation. We serve barbequed fish, chicken and pork from a stick or thai barbeque style: moo kata. People who tend to stay overnight at the jungle will be served a western style breakfast.

Other activities we include in the trip are abseiling from a tree, tyrolean traverse, birdwatching, fishing and motorcross. The most adrenaline kicking will be the zipline from a platform, built 20 meters high in a giant tree. All activities will be conducted with modern and safe climbing gear, imported from the United States and France.

We offer daytrips as well with 1 or 2 nights overnight in the jungle in tents. Transport is from your hotel to our office. Here we can decide to continue by motorbike by pick up truck or with mountainbike (motorbikes only with small group).
All trips are included transport anywhere from Khaolak, additional charge from Phuket. All meals and beverages are included ( alcohol people have to bring themself)
What do you need to bring: good shoes and plenty of socks
